Practicum Assignment Blog #2

After further research, I found a high population of tweens in children's programming sites like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.  There were many opportunities for the members  of the sites to post in open messaging channels, but there was also heavy advertising for parental control.  Additionally, the sites assured parents that they were rigorously controlling and maintaining the privacy rights of every member.  I have recently become a member of cartoon network, and their "club" sign-up is quite interesting and fun.  My name is newkiddnacho and my alias is the valiant mr shadow or something.  Its quite fun and make me feel like a kid again.
