Plants vs. Zombies

After I typed the site into my browser to figure out what this game was, I started laughing because the other day in one of my other classes I saw a girl playing this game on her computer, and I just kept staring at her screen wondering why in the world would someone want to play a game where plants shoot zombies to try to keep them away from a house?? I literally just watched her play the game all class, and was sooo confused. So, I now had the chance to play and check out what the hype was all about. First off, I thought it was funny how you could create your own zombie, they had some interesting items you could choose from. The game seemed pretty straight-forward, and simple instructions told you what to do when a new element popped up. The game was not as easy as I expected it to be though. It seems like you have to have a strategy to keep the zombies away. For example, placing your plants in the correct location. I found it best to place them closer to the house, and then work your way towards the sidewalk. As the game added new grass that the zombies could walk on, you had to ensure that your plants could attack from every direction. Anyway, I get distracted easily, so I actually had to stop myself from playing for too long. The game ended up being more interesting than I thought when I first saw my classmate playing it, however, I would never seek out this game on my own.
