Every Computerized Thing in a Night

Last night, without even realizing it, I was interacting with my internet, music, TV, and cell phone all at once. As I was getting dressed for work, I had my music blasting while watching the football game on TV. Of course though, I had to check ESPN.com and Facebook in the middle of it all before I left. At this point, I had only 5 minutes until I had to be at work, so I was rushing around my room not really paying any attention to the music, TV, or my Facebook. Thinking I was actually going to make it out the door on time, my phone rang and I got caught talking to my Mom & Dad for a while. After we stopped talking, I hung up my phone, turned off my music, closed my computer, shut off my TV, and finally walked out the door and headed off to work (10 minutes late...not bad). Reflecting back on my multi-tasking last night, I realized that it is pretty normal now for me to have all those computerized devices going at once. Maybe I should tone it down a bit.
