The new COD has updated its leveling and hierarchy system. Similar to Second Life, you have game currency. As you get kills, win games, or complete challenges, you are awarded a certain amount of COD money. It's different from Second Life or PS3 home in the sense that you don't spend $ for the fake money. Instead, you earn the money. However, it is the same in the sense that you need the money to update your character. With this money you can buy new weapons, attachments, change how your character looks, etc. You can also even wager money on certain matches you play. It definitely makes this call of duty from all the others. You have to pick and choose which things you unlock instead of eventually just getting everything automatically.
