The reason I have been so MIA is because every chance I get to work on my practicum I forget about doing the actually blog posting and instead work on my personal site. The site has taken a long time to figure out. But, after a few weeks I have finally figured out the formula.
I have chosen to cut out all the cool flash and javascript elements and keep it simple. It looks clean simple, and loads just the way I want it.
I am close to finishing my "about me" section. All I have to do is change around some of the wording. I have also finished my film, resume and contact section. It was great working on my resume section because it actually forced me to perfect my resume, which I have been putting off for a while. And if i do say so myself I think it looks pretty nice, but you guys will be the judges of that.
The last page I need to work on is my "ads" section. My struggle with this section is deciding on the content. I don't want content overload but I also do not have an abundance of work so I almost have to put in everything I have. I also have PDF's of campaign books I have created and I cant decide how to integrate them into the section. Possibly as downloadable links...?
Overall, I am so happy with how my site is turning out and can't wait for you all to see it.
