Talking to the Gleeks!

After starting to participate more on the Glee forum, it's been fun to be able to respond to people's threads or the topics they're interested in. I haven't started any topics of my own, but I explore the site by the topic I want to discuss. I go through the site, find the thread of comments that pertain to that topic (for example, one Glee couple in particular), and then I just continue the conversation. After trying to participate more in the forum, I've noticed that the Glee forum isn't as much of an interactive conversation, but a continual conversation that people read in order to feel as if they're participating in a community of common interests. It was nice to find posts from people that shared the exact same opinions as me on the forum, but I didn't expect them to respond to my posts. It might be nice for the site to have a little more conversational organization, so people can see who responds to their specific posts (more like Facebook conversations), but I can understand wanting to put out your opinions in a forum and read the opinions of others. With two more posts to go, I'll be giving my conclusions about the forum overall,and discussing how it relates to the bigger topics of the semester!
