Ok, I'm slowly taking baby steps on Bebo. I just can't get over the fact that the more apps I discover, the more it reminds me of a MySpace account. I'm not at a total of 10 friends (yay!), but I'm not quite sure how to interact with them yet. I added new photos and rearranged my page layout a little. I made my boyfriend make an account so I at least personally know one of my friends, and he is currently the only one posting on my profile. So, I guess I need to find ways to make it more interesting.
I've started noticing that many of the users on Bebo have a ton of added applications, quizzes, games, etc on their profiles. I'm starting to add a few as well, but I'm leary as to what I can and can't trust, because many of the apps are created by random users, not the Bebo service. Also, most of the profiles I view are cluttered with so many different apps which makes them extremely difficult to navigate. I actually get annoyed and can't stand at looking at cluttered profiles, but I think I'm going to make mine just as crazy in order to (hopefully) gain some attention. I've linked my account to both my Twitter and Facebook profiles, but only some of my tweets are showing up on my Bebo page. Hmmmm....
In addition, many of the users I've come across are from the UK and young, like high school-age, which just makes me look like even more of a creeper. Haha, oh well! The best part? I've seen some users comment about how Bebo is 'so ova!'...I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm a little old and missed the glory years of Bebo. I'll still try to keep things interesting, though! Wish me luck!!
