Bebo

Alright, so the second social networking site I've joined is Bebo. I have never heard of this site, but I Googled the most popular sites, and this was one of them. I just joined the other day and sat down to mess with it a little and see what it's all about. The profile asks for standard information, like schools, interests, activities, tastes in music, etc. And then you can personalize it by choosing your 'skin' (background images) and also the color schemes of your photo albums and things. The cool part is, there is a timeline attached to your profile page. I think it can be used as a personal calendar for daily activities, or you could use it to mark big events that you want other people to see. Each posting can be linked with a picture. It shows up on your profile in a timeline, which is pretty much the main attraction to your page.

You can post status updates, link to your favorite musicians, become fans of pages, join groups, etc. I've come to the conclusion that I NEED TO FIND FRIENDS ON BEBO! I might have to start following some randoms because I don't know of anyone else that uses Bebo. There's not really much to look at right now because currently, I don't have any friends under my account. On the bright side, I did start to play a game that's kind of like Farmville. I never played on Facebook, but with no friends to creep on through Bebo, I've stooped to that level.

I've linked my account to my Facebook and Twitter page, but I'm not really sure what that does as of yet. I kind of like the site, but I need to nose around a little more before I post any legit comments about it. I think I'll keep working on it a little :)
