Chatroulette, of course.

Alright, so as much as I find Chatroulette to be creepy, I find it fascinating as well. So maybe I'm creepy? Haha, no. But aside from the penises, overweight/old shirtless men, curious 13-year-olds, werewolves, and everything else, something about it was kind of fun. I remember the very first time I did it last year & how awkward I felt. I'd just next people simply because I didn't know what the hell to say. I'd make my roommate do it with me & we'd just laugh the whole time. This was probably kind of offensive but I don't think we were laughing solely because the person looked weird, but because we were uncomfortable & it seemed like the only legitimate reaction. I don't think it was quite as amusing a year later, but nonetheless it's pretty harmless entertainment. You never know what you're going to get next... literally. I guess I'm kind of curious to how the whole penis thing started though? I can't tell if these people are being serious or just... I don't know, messing around? Creepy, but I'm certainly not going to ask them.

It's definitely a fad. Remember all of the youtube videos, songs, and how psyched people were about it a year ago? For that reason as well, I think it's kind of cool. Maybe further down the road, someone will be able to look back & make sense of it all. Just the general reception of it is intriguing. What about it really attracted people worldwide? I don't think it's the penises.
