The first thing that came up as I started to Google my name (before I got to typing in my last name), was Heidi Montag. I guess it's a new thing on Google, but it guesses what you are going to be looking up, and shows results for it. I quickly typed my last name, Brittnacher, because I really didn't want to see that many pictures of that woman. She makes me sick. After I entered my first name, basically a ton of websites for running came up. The first one was WIRunners, then Player Bios, just a lot of race results. Nothing too special. One that was pretty high on the list that I was surprised about was my Twitter. I freaked out for a second, but then realized that I have mine blocked so no one can see it. But what if I didn't? Then anyone could Google my name and see it. I mean I have nothing to hide on it, but I just think that's weird that people would be able to have access to it.
There were two other things that I was surprised about. My Facebook isn't on there at all, and I also had a few sites about when I coached soccer about a million years ago. Even my birthday was shown in the Google search. I don't know how I feel about that.
After looking through a few pages, I did find something that had to do with Facebook. I guess I am an administrator for some Facebook group that is public access. Also, a little weird. I guess I didn't realize how easy it is to find things on the Internet if you really tried.
