Sorry Ceviche
I discovered the video section today of epicurious, needless to say I was entertained for a long time. The audience can retwitter the videos, email them, link them to facebook, or publish them to reddit. What I found interesting, though, is that there was no comment section, because most of the recipes have that option. This was sort of more like a TV section, with different "channels" like "technique", "holiday," "entertaining," and the one I was drawn into: "around the world in 80 dishes." (I watched one in particular that was of a very famous Peruvian dish, "Ceviche," which I ate in Peru, but I don't think their's would taste similar...because they use limes instead of a special Peruvian lemon, and Jalapeno pepper instead of a milder and different tasting Aji pepper...and it didn't look as good as it does in Peru...but I think they're working with what they have. haha but it makes me doubt the validity of the other countries' dishes posted.)
