Bye bye Twitter?

No way! So I thought I'd reflect on where I'm going to go with Twitter now that I'm done with my practicum project, as well as where I think Twitter will go in the future as well. As I mentioned in an earlier post, Twitter has become sort of an integral part of my online habits. Thus, I'm not going to cancel my account just because my project is done. It's actually a lot of fun & nonetheless, a great mindless activity to do when I should be doing other.. thoughtful things.. aka studying for the next few days. It's grown on me. No, I don't think it's going to overtake my facebook habits, at least not yet. But I do enjoy going on it, seeing what celebrities are doing, you knoww.. & in regards to where I think Twitter will go from here? As Liz stressed in class, Twitter is growing rapidly. I see no reason for this trend not to continue. I at least haven't heard any complaints about Twitter, particularly in regards to privacy, like for example facebook. I think that's actually one of the major benefits of Twitter. It is slightly less personal in that there are no photos, extended bios, etc. I think also because it's so connected to popular culture in general that it should be around for a while & continue to develop. I'm excited to see new features they add and just where it goes from here.
