I'll admit it. I'm addicted to my laptop. I spend a lot of time on it, but I don't normally consider the other devices I used on a daily, or near daily, basis.
In the mid to late afternoon I had to work. I used my computer to search for stories to write for the following day and did research. Shortly after, I went to do an interview for one of my classes and used an audio recorder to record the conversation. I took photos to go with the written piece. I called four people using my smartphone today, and used it to organize and remember things. I also like to listen to music on my mp3 player while commuting.
On a normal day, I would head home for the night to immediately buckle down and study. Today it was time to purchase Rose Bowl tickets. When I got home, I was welcomed with the sight of five of my friends with laptops at the ready while they researched the logistics of tickets and flight costs. We were all fortunate enough to be able to purchase tickets for all six of us. Our laptops did us a service tonight.
I will be setting my alarm clock soon and going to bed.
