One Evening...
Last night was a pretty eventful night in terms of computer usage. Mainly, this was due to the search for Rose Bowl tickets. Although I am not going to the game, two of my friends asked me to get tickets for them, as they did not have student season tickets. Five of my friends and I huddled around a couch at 9pm clicking, refreshing, entering, escaping all the way till the end of the process. Eventually I got the tickets and told my friends, through Facebook chat, that I had gotten the tickets for them. I then went on to Facebook to see all the people posting about the Rose Bowl. I even got a shout out from one of the friends I had purchased a ticket for. It was nice to see the students come together around one unified subject. Many of us were also disappointed at the people who bought tickets online simply to sell them for a large profit. The Badger Herald even went so far as to publish a list of those they knew to be offenders. Some of my friends and I spoke in iChat about whether or not we agreed with the article. That took me to about midnight, at which point I got into my bed and watched that night's episode of Dexter streaming on my computer. It was a great episode by the way. I've never really thought about what I do online. Like most people, I kind of just--do it. It has become second nature.
