Even though I was a member of the Laker's Facebook group, I had never taken the time to sit down and really check it out. But what I found was far more entertaining than I had ever thought. Not only was there a variety of discussion boards, ranging from "Who would beat who in a 1 on 1 match: Kobe vs. Lebron" and "Lakers will defeat Heat," but there are ticket exchanges, team merchandise shops, and even a section for making predictions where you can challenge your friends to see who is better at predicting final outcomes. After browsing through the site for a while, I decided to take a Lakers trivia challenge where it asks a series of questions about Laker players, records, histories, and more. I posted my first Lakers trivia challenge score below, however, I am somewhat disappointed by my effort, (I forgot who wore the retired #25 jersey).
This is a great site to spread around to anyone else on Facebook that is interested in the Lakers. Not only can you match up with your own friends in trivia games like the prediction challenge, but it is a great way to stay up-to-date with everything Lakers beyond the court. This forum is more interactive, compared to the others I have participated in where it is more debate / opinion oriented. I'm going to continue to explore this site, along with others that are as interactive as this one.
