These MOO worlds seem completely dead and useless. I'm not sure why they're still running and taking up valuable server space (although I'm sure It's a small amount. And it's not that the creators have stopped all updating, because just yesterday I saw a link to a world's wiki page pop up during the log in. Ten years ago this assignment may have given me more interesting interactions, but today I have not found such a thing.

Attempting Contact... Again
Most of the MOOs and MUDs have seen their hay-day already and are now past their prime. The once populated adventure worlds are now empty and desolate. Upon logging in today I was determined to make some sort of meaningful contact. The only human interactions that I have had so far have been newbie conversations ("hey, do you know how to ____?") and the notifications that pop up when another player travels through the space that you're currently in. When I checked the list of users currently online I was saddened to find it only had 11 members (and 3 of them were listed as "creator"). I messaged all of the normal 8 users with questions and comments such as "hey I'm new, any advice?", and "how long have you been playing for?". But alas, not one of the users even replied.
